At Akyem Tafo Golf Club, we take immense pride in our roots and the vibrant golfing community we have built. Our club was established in 1947 as part of the West African Cocoa Research Institute (WACRI), making us one of the oldest golf clubs in Ghana. What began as a recreational facility for institute staff has evolved into a prestigious club that welcomes members from all walks of life.

Our club was founded by passionate local golfers who envisioned a place where the spirit of the sport and the camaraderie among players thrive. With a commitment to upholding the traditions of golf, we also strive to nurture new talent and inspire a new generation of golfers in Ghana.
